The 2' x 2' base model has a waterproof asphalt felt roof, aqua sealed pine wood walls with a plywood floor.
The roof hinges in the rear with safety gate hooks in the front and a clasp lock on the 14"x 8" door. Includes three screened vent holes in the door. The roof measures 32"deep x 30" wide.. To keep the temperature down, a radiant barrier insulation of Reflectix has been added across the roof.
These homes should be positioned in the shade, away from sprinklers. Please allow 3 weeks to create - from time of purchase. Kindly plan to arrange for pick up, we do not deliver or ship.

Each year, California Turtle and Tortoise Club Adoption Committees place hundreds of abandoned, lost, seized, injured or diseased turtles and tortoises that have been turned in by other humane organizations, members of the public, local and federal government officers and veterinarians. OUR STORY
We are a father and son team who create the perfect homes for Tortoises that need to be adopted into homes. With an Entrepreneurial spirit, my 12 year old son James is a builder at heart and he loved the idea of building homes for Tortoises and wanted to create his first company.
After building several homes together for over 4 years, we have developed our base model Tortoise home. The home contains a radiant barrier material called Reflectix attached to the inside of the roof. This gives the Tortoise some additional heat relief. These Tortoise homes are best in full shade and away from sprinklers for home longevity.
